As much as I understand the comments above, when you think about class balance, team effectiveness, aggro, pvp, KS and such, you have to give a boost to the defender class, or it would be way too slow to train, maybe even boring for some players.

I agree there is a bit of an over the top feel to them, but is that a bad thing ? I think it looks pretty cool they do look like something out of an Anime like Chronosink said, but I think i might end up liking that if they do a good job with it. Seem like they have so far. Keep up the good work.

I'm kind of sad. I liked DD because it stuck to basics and didn't use these anime warrior type moves. Now they create earth tremors and move with lightning speed, like in JRPGs. Reply: i don't know why first message got cut off

Gotta say, I've never imagined the Fighter's attacks creating stalagmites in the earth. 4e can be over the top, but damn, guys.
